Visit verification is about confirming the visitor really came to the site. Partners choose how each point proves a visit.
The service makes the call
Whether a verification is valid, whether the stamp was already earned, and whether to grant it in the end are decided by the service, not by the visitor's device or by anything installed on site.
Participation is anonymous
No sign-up and no login. One tap on "Join" and it starts. What a proof method looks at is not who the visitor is, but whether they came to the site. One person creating several participants is not prevented. Extra participants earn nothing without going to the points, and that is where an event's trust comes from.
Addresses never change
The QR codes and NFC tags you install on site carry permanent addresses that never need replacing. You can reuse them at the next event without reprinting anything.
Points with staff are confirmed by a person
Back when you collected stamps in a paper stamp book, a staff member looked and confirmed it. We moved that over as it was. Because a person confirms it, you have to be there, and you cannot pass it to someone else. A single point can carry several methods. Whatever else you pair it with, staff confirmation is the fallback when the rest will not work.
Chosen per point
How a visit is proven is decided per point, and methods can be mixed within one event.
